This is certainly largely a matter of timing, but nevertheless, ingenuity is a human trait that perhaps even defines an individual's success. I think artificial neural networks will be able to surpass us even in this, so, before that happens, or at least before you and I have heard anything about it, let's try to think it over. So ingenuity, in general, helps to solve something, some problem that bothers us. I just want to define the boundaries of this term for our conversation, so we know what we're talking about. So, we might be worried about something positive, an incredibly tempting opportunity that we don't know how to approach, or a danger that we need to somehow avoid. Ingenuity in this case works like a leap, a solution that came as if from nowhere. It doesn't matter how it actually happened, perhaps our neural networks, which practically never sleep, were doing it in an unconscious mode. It seems that it is now believed that most of what goes on in our heads, to one degree or another, passes by our conscious attention.
In general, we are in 'tonux.gix' consider ourselves more artists than businesspeople or, for example, engineers. But, since various breakthrough ideas make art out of anything, we don't shy away from various other interesting questions. True, in this case, this door opening mechanism still needs to be tested in some simulations...
It's wonderful that this beautiful phenomenon exists! He works excellently on both small and strategic tasks. For example, I spontaneously came up with the idea of a door opening mechanism for cars with two levers, which I haven't seen anywhere before. My friends from 'tonux.gix' and I, in addition to everything else, are passionate about designing various elements of the familiar human world, such as transportation or buildings. By the way, multidisciplinarity, it seems to me, often provokes various "insights," simply by transferring certain phenomena from one field to another. Indeed, the main problem with ingenuity, if viewed as mental tunneling, is that we never know whether to expect that desired breakthrough from ourselves. But we can influence the chance of it appearing, I think. The main factor is probably a well-formed worldview. If someone easily believes in various nonsense, they will simply constantly focus their attention on false goals. I think ingenuity is, in essence, the same as the rest of our mental and emotional activity – simply a constant attempt to guess the trajectory of everything that comes into our attention. These can be individual objects, large groups of them, or entire phenomena. The classification of objects, phenomena, and the selection of a goal is crucial, most likely.
At the start, the environment is the most important thing, then we learn to change it if we can. You need a little luck here, of course. You can just be born into a toxic environment, and you have to spend your whole life inventing something even more toxic, just to have it as a weapon for daily survival. It's very difficult to get out of a situation like this, but if you can figure out where you are, it becomes possible. Also, communication – the help of family and friends is very important at any stage. Never be ashamed to praise your loved ones, friends, and even strangers if you see them coming up with something interesting. Perhaps, also, there are different kinds of everyday activities where ingenuity can manifest more or less. Its main enemy is the fear of taking unnecessary risks. Therefore, in massive and stable structures, ingenuity will be valued much less than in smaller and more dynamic ones. Industries that are rapidly evolving and lack readily available, off-the-shelf solutions are more likely to welcome this. I've already mentioned art, and for some reason we think that this is precisely the place where talent is valued especially highly, but it doesn't seem to be quite so. Art, that is, what we usually call art in most cases, has become, it seems, too boring and conservative. Just a reminder for everyone who has been patient enough to get this far with me, please keep this in mind. It's better to hear something, even if it's not super pleasant, from someone else sometimes than to waste time and learn it yourself. So it turns out that something new and rapidly developing, like AI, for example, can help us more. Here, for example, is a wonderfully done summary, with the help of notebooklm and no user experience was even needed, it worked the first time.
It's made from our previous post here. I was really pleasantly surprised, it helped me delve into the topic in more detail. Also, absolutely stunning results are being achieved, for example, this (Genie 3) just presented in early August – a neural network that generates a 3D environment with physics simulation and incredible visuals in real time. And this is done simply with a prompt. So, the possibilities are there, and they are only just beginning to truly grow. I'm really glad if you're with me, and I managed to tell you something interesting. There's an opportunity to subscribe here, I invite you to. We don't often publish our thoughts, and business loves consistency, we don't really fit those criteria, and therefore we rarely end up in various recommendations, but you can take care of getting news from us in "manual mode" by enabling notifications. Fortunately, such opportunities still remain, despite the fierce battle for our attention, and hand tools may gradually begin to disappear, like manual transmissions in cars. Sooner or later, we will all be automating more and more things around us, perhaps creating more and more of our own virtual assistants for all the tasks where it will work well. Perhaps this is one of the factors that could significantly free our imagination from routine tasks, and this too will increase the chances of brilliant breakthroughs for each of us. I dream about this and many other interesting things, and I hope I'll be able to publish my thoughts about them when they're ready. For example, the extremely provocative question of the expansion of individuality promised by AI and beyond. For now, our individuality is "locked" within the body. No one can say for sure what will happen next, and what opportunities and risks are associated with it. By the way, communication, discussions, and the exchange of ideas are very important in such matters. We've only recently made some housekeeping at our Discord, created some interesting topics there, and so on. But there's no one there right now, I invite you there, if you're still with me, there might be something provocative for you there. Thank you for being with me.
