about the "Nux"-project

You could count us on the fingers of one hand. We rather think of ourselves as artists — if to put the question that way. Lately, our main project has been a virtual 3d interactive environment, which we're involved with for quite some time now, and which is still in an inceptional phase... But gradually, we discovered many unexpected things that are not directly related to 3D material, but rather to the fact that we spend more and more time in the virtual world. For example, everything we interact with may be much more usable to us if it is more "three-dimensional," so to speak. Simply because we've gone through a long evolution of interacting with three-dimensional environments. More dimensions suggests more life-space, yeah:) In addition, it seems that the main problem of each of us is the inertia of perception. It's normal, people have always been a little bit behind the technological changes mentally. It's a problem, but it's also a chance for each of us to gain a small advantage by gradually reducing this gap. To this end, it's sometimes even enough to just dream a little. Of course, immersing yourself in the peculiarities of 3D material is also useful and quite fun.

Of course, we won't be able to launch a full-fledged universal interactive virtual environment on our own. In fact, we were not going to do it, because we believe that the ideal option for this case would be something like an open-source model. That is, it could be something decentralized. There are already projects like this, and they are often really exciting, like "decentralend", for example. But it seems that there is no software platform yet that would provide all the features that we would like to have. This includes the usual 3D interactivity features, blockchain compatibility, and the ability to integrate augmented reality. Even incredible game-engines like "unity", "unreal" or "godot", for example, do not provide all of this in full. But it will come sooner or later, I think.

All we can do as artists is just create some artwork for now. In the long run, we plan to put what we manage to create, at least in parts, out there for open access. I think it's important that everyone who wants to try their hand at creating a suitable software platform has a ready-made 3D artwork of large scenes for testing. Also important are different aesthetic priorities — what we want to see in such environments. To find out, we have to try. People's aesthetic preferences are changing rapidly nowadays. For centuries, we were quite satisfied with straight rows of fences, but now everything is starting to change faster and faster. So we, as artists, are more and more immersed in the peculiarities of human perception, and this constantly distracts us from the consistent creation of 3d material. These are just natural questions about why we like certain things. But, perhaps, there are some deeper patterns hidden in the basis of our perception that come from the very foundations of this universe, more about this: https://blotproject.blogspot.com/2017/08/coz.html

Also, the new opportunities for organizing your everyday life, which are now becoming available to everyone, look extremely provoking. We often want to dream about this, too. New opportunities leave you with more free time than usually and allow you to dream a little about how to make your life even better. Imagine, for example, that you, together with a group of friends, collectively buy a latest Tesla model, which is not yet available but will probably be soon, which will recharge itself and drive people around all autonomously. If someone creates an appropriate uber-like service for autonomous cars, you can simply make money off of it. This is a very simplified example. We dream of creating virtual characters that will share ideas like this in the standard of communication that everyone is used to, and will even be able to answer questions or have discussions with anyone. This is also an important "service" for us, people. It is very important for all people to constantly improve their vision of reality in order to live better.

If we really manage to realize something like this, it will be very easy to "dress" it up in some delicate form of business. In such virtual environments, it will be very easy to do this. I think the essence of any business is that you seem to give others the opportunity to "go down the hill" on the surface of entropy, sorry for the unusual term :) This is just a way to visually imagine the reality in which we live, which has various natural irregularities, roughly speaking. And all of us, by earning money, in one way or another, enable someone to use a small local difference to get exactly what they need at the moment. At the moment, of course, we are still quite far from our business goal, so we are going to make simple links for donors :) This will give us the opportunity to devote more time to this project with all the subprojects...

Your participation in this "dreamy" project in a form that is quite accessible to you is very important to us — just comment and share this blog. I hope you are intrigued by something here, if you are still here. It's a pleasure for us, please follow and come back again!
